We Are London Tech Leaders. 

Our vision is to become the leading event for senior technology leaders within the UK. Utilising our extensive network & existing audience, we are looking to grow our event from community events into a full scale conference. 

Over the last 5 years, we have become an industry leading events brand, where our network can connect, network and discuss the latest industry trends, challenges within the industry, and collaborate on new ideas.

The problem you’ll be solving.

Engaging senior technology leaders requires creativity, transparency and the ability to provide value through networking and discussions. 

Your objective is to showcase the delivery of our events, help engage and capture a new audience and ensure our partners, speakers and hosts are supported throughout the year.

With a busy event schedule planned over the next few years, you will be ensuring we provide the best service, events, and production for all our community and share new ideas, recommendations to ensure we operate at the highest level.

You will also help to create new and exciting content for the LTL (London Tech Leaders) marketing function to attract a wider audience and differentiate ourselves from other events in the market with a more personable brand. 

What you’ll be doing: 

This will be a varied role, you will be helping to organise the London Tech Leaders events and drive the marketing at and around our events. You’ll have training and support from our internal marketing team and have the opportunity to work across a number of different styles of events. This role will give you broad exposure to the whole marketing lifecycle and events planning process. 

Key Responsibilities for the Role:

  • Event Administration: Oversee the administrative aspects of event planning, ensuring all logistical elements are executed with precision and efficiency. Collaborate with the team to identify top-tier speakers, suppliers, and venues.
  • Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyse feedback from clients and attendees to drive continuous improvement in future events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the London Tech Leaders team to manage event calendars, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are consistently met.
  • Webinar Coordination: Assist in the scheduling and organisation of webinars, managing logistical details from start to finish. Prepare and distribute pre-webinar materials such as invitations, agendas, and promotional content, while also learning to provide technical support for speakers and attendees.
  • Events Promotion: Develop strategies to enhance ticket sales/signups to maximise visibility for London Tech Leaders' events.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Assist with digital marketing efforts, including drafting, scheduling, and monitoring email campaigns, as well as updating event landing pages to maintain accurate and engaging content.
  • Website Management: Keep the company website up to date with information on current and upcoming events.

You will achieve this by:

  • Copywriting & Content Creation: Leverage strong copywriting skills to produce compelling social media posts and community-driven content aimed at increasing engagement.
  • Website Improvement & Updates: Implement strategies to improve traffic and engagement on our website (londontechleaders.io), increasing event sign-ups and newsletter subscriptions.
  • Creative Marketing: Enhance existing marketing collateral, including pitch decks, social media graphics, and other promotional materials, ensuring they align with brand objectives.
  • Knowledge Management: Build and maintain an information repository for speakers, suppliers, and venues to streamline future event planning.
  • Event Support: Provide hands-on assistance for both virtual and in-person events. Gain proficiency in event platforms while exploring new, cost-effective technologies for 2025 and beyond.

Ideally you’ll have: 

  • 1 year of marketing experience, ideally within the events industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of event promotion and audience engagement.
  • Proven experience managing social media campaigns, with a particular focus on TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Hands-on experience working on both virtual and in-person events, contributing to their successful execution.
  • Proficiency in crafting engaging content and designing visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with event management platforms and tools, ensuring smooth event logistics and operations.
  • Ability to analyse event data such as registrations, attendee numbers, and signups to inform future marketing and event strategies.
