We provide opportunities to fast track your career through deployment on technical projects, mentorship, and continual learning and development.

Your journey

Year 1

You’ll gain experience working on live projects for WeShape customers, delivering BAU tasks as part of a wider team in your chosen technology area - gaining a strong understanding of the project lifecycle, you will be able to deliver within a structured environment.

You will have access to an L&D budget, as well as having an assigned technical mentor from the WeShape network to provide career and day to day support and regular company-wide offsite training. There will be the opportunity to gain further training and certifications across different technologies, including cloud certifications covering Google Cloud and AWS.

Year 2

As a Tech Academy Consultant, having worked on multiple live projects for WeShape customers, you will have the ability to deliver independently, and have worked on product development and implementation projects, with a wider understanding of software development, data engineering or data science, and being able to develop learning across new tools and technologies.

You will have access to some exciting projects across different industries including finance, automotive, pharmaceuticals and blockchain development.

Year 3

As a Senior Tech Academy Consultant, with strong experience across multiple projects working autonomously as part of a wider project team, you will help to guide technical client cadence calls and collaborate with wider project teams to deliver against wider pieces of work, alongside autonomously delivering on projects.

Offering technical mentorship and L&D support, you will work closely with more junior colleagues of the WeShape Tech Academy to help with their career development, via 1-2-1’s and code review sessions to help upskill the next generation of the Tech Academy.

Future

With a few years of hands-on experience, strong technical skills developed on multiple projects, references from multiple clients, as well as multiple certifications, you will have the tools to move to the next stage of your career.
