Tech Pathway

Our very own
fast-track for underrepresented
tech talent

The WeShape Tech Pathway aims to give people from underprivileged and underrepresented backgrounds an opportunity to work in technology, where they’ll be trained and guided by some of the best technical experts within the industry. We call these promising newcomers our WeShape Fast Trackers.

We're on hand through every step of the way to ensure that our Fast Trackers are motivated and supported throughout – and ready to make their mark on the world. It's our way of showing our commitment to the tech stars of tomorrow.

They will be provided with comprehensive training via Le Wagon, a fully-supported coding bootcamp, where they will learn the most in-demand skills – including how to build software –  before being offered a two-year contract with us (and supported by our partners) upon successful completion of the course.

Get involved with the Tech Pathway

Work with the best

We fully vet all potential WeShape Fast Trackers from a technical and cultural perspective – this includes a technical test with our partners Le Wagon. The programme is very intense, fast-paced and demanding, and we will select only the most motivated students to get onboard.

WeShape Mentorship

We ensure that our Fast Trackers are fully supported throughout the programme by allocating a Lead Consultant from within our team to act as a mentor and provide monthly check-ins when possible, discussing all things technology, project work and support.WeShape Fast Trackers will have instant access to all our teams via our Slack project channels throughout the two years should they need on-demand support.

Underrepresented backgrounds

The WeShape Tech Pathway has one aim: to help close the diversity and inclusion gap within the technology industry. By partnering with us on this initiative, you will be working with a very ambitious team who are determined to achieve this goal.

IR35 Compliance and Partnership rates after 2 years

Our Pathway is IR35 compliant, meaning our Fast Trackers will operate as contractors.

Once a Fast Tracker has completed their two-year placement, any WeShape partner that has taken part in this initiative will be given first refusal to continue working with them at competitive rates.

Comprehensive training via Le Wagon (a fully supported coding bootcamp)

You will learn the most in-demand skills with other motivated students, supported throughout by passionate teachers and a hands-on curriculum that covers how to build software, how to solve problems and more.

Guaranteed employment

Upon successful completion of the Le Wagon Bootcamp, you’ll be guaranteed a two-year paid contract with WeShape, working with a variety of our customers and Tech Academy supporters at the cutting edge of technology.

WeShape Mentorship

During your two-year placement with WeShape, you will have monthly mentoring sessions with one of our lead Technical Consultants. These sessions will provide check-ins where you can discuss all things technology, current project work and gain valuable support.

Continued Learning & Development

We provide a comprehensive L&D and equipment budget to ensure you’re set up for success and can continue to learn and grow.
