The problem you’ll be solving.

WeShape has a unique operating model - our core team is made up of technical consultants and ex industry technology recruiters which enables us to identify customer technical pain points, build solutions and mobilise teams rapidly, at scale. 

Our solutions include organisational & technical advisory, squad deployment, on-demand consultants, training & coaching and talent advisory.

We work with some of the world’s leading brands within the UK and Europe providing leading consultancy expertise to help guide and accelerate their Digital transformation agendas - Your role will be supporting our operations function to ensure the business runs smoothly as we continue to scale (we’ve grown our headcount by 200%, and our revenue by 623% this year alone). 

We work tirelessly and as a very proactive business, it’s important you bring a flair for new ideas, innovation and flexibility to your solutions - we don’t like to settle.

Responsibilities

This will be a vast and varied role, where you’ll be managing and overseeing all aspects of our operations department.

No two days will be the same, and you’ll be ultimately responsible for the following:

  • Line management responsibility for our existing Operations Assistant, as well as hiring new employees for the UK Operations team
  • Responsibility for ‘special projects’ within WeShape to support our strategic goals
  • Supporting in financial management of the company, including P&L, payments, and financial forecasting 
  • Complete oversight of onboarding process for new permanent and associate hires 
  • Managing and developing our existing L&D strategy 
  • Oversee all SDGs and other social, environmental and sustainability goals of the company
  • Oversight of office and supplier management 
  • Management of the HR function 
  • Bringing sustainability to the attention of the board by monitoring and updating KPI's
  • Setting new and aspirational targets to ensure that WeShape are not just a leading digital consultancy, but that these are made in consideration to the success of all WeShape stakeholders

This role is for you if: 

  • You’re ambitious, and interested in management within Operations
  • You’re highly organised, with a great eye for detail 
  • You’re not afraid to try new things and take on new responsibilities as your career grows
  • You’re able to talk to stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation

Ideally you’ll have: 

  • Proficiency on Google Workspace / MS Office. 
  • An eye for process, with an appreciation of lean six sigma principles 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Team management experience 
  • Basic accounting knowledge/skills
